Movies


We see a lot of movies.  We used to see a lot of movies right in the theater, opening weekend quite often, and as such I spent a good deal of time on these pages discussing them.  I'm a movie nut, can't deny it.  But lately we've tended to wait longer (more on that here) and see them out of order, as Netflix deems appropriate depending on their "long-ish wait" lines and whatever whims drive the disc shipping magnates over there.  To that end, and pursuant to my other love (i.e., general laziness), I haven't been writing as much about them in here.  In fact, my constant prattle about the new releases we've seen in the theater seems to have dried up circa early-2009.  Regardless, I keep track of the ones we've seen, more for posterity than anything else.  If you're curious, you can read more about them through links below.  (Again, these are just the movies we've seen in a theater.  The list of movies we've rented already takes up an embarrassing amount of space in my Netflix account profile.)  Some of these might fall into the Rental Recommendation category, although you'd have to read my biased and unprofessional reviews and make up your own minds.  Additionally, you can also read more about my love/hate relationship with motion pictures in this category.
